This NYTimes article is quite comprehensive for a mainstream media piece on this topic, and I believe gives a good sense of the complexity of these issues. A good read. In particular, I remain convinced that anyone who seriously thinks that it's simple to deal with these kinds of concerns, or that it's always possible to satisfy everyone with particular decisions, is living in a dream world. While I do not claim to agree with all of Google's individual decisions in this area 100% of the time, I very much do endorse the concept that they are indeed trying to walk the razor blade of life with a reasonable sense of balance in this realm.
