[ NNSquad ] Broadband truth in advertising, redux

Where can I sign up for advertised "up to 50GB speeds" ... ? But I
want an honest 50GB/s! Seriously, we know what he meant, and as noted
here many times before, the "up to" qualification on ISP speed
promotions tends to be highly misleading -- especially for DSL and
even more so for cable. It's like selling bottles of milk labeled "up
to 1 gallon inside!" -- and finding that some or most only contain a quart,
especially at certain times of the day!

At least the crooked "weight loss drugs," wacky exercise equipment
firms, and get-rich-quick-with-the-Internet telemarketing schemes
usually label their ads with "results not typical" in the fine print.
