1000 L.A. area AT&T cell sites down

http://j.mp/mRWe00 (Washington Post)

"Company officials told KCBS and KCAL-TV that about 1,000 cell
phone towers were out of service and the problems were not
expected to be fixed until 2:30 a.m. Sunday. Messages left with
AT&T representatives by The Associated Press were not immediately
     returned."

If the merger went through, perhaps AT&T could crash the T-Mobile
cells I depend on here in L.A. as well. Wouldn't that be special?
