AT&T and T-Mobile to establish roaming agreement By the way, AT&T and T-Mobile have announced that with the failure of the merger, they will be entering into a roaming agreement -- details to be announced. Roaming agreements are good - though not as good in this case as one might hope since T-Mobile's 3G/4G frequencies for most phones are incompatible with AT&Ts.
