With all due respect to Susan, the line quoted above is the one from
her piece I can definitely most agree with, but from the opposite side
of the argument.  As you can guess from my many previous discussions
of this topic, I view her support of what I and many other observers
consider to be ICANN's extortionist gTLD expansion plans -- designed
to further enrich the domain-industrial complex to the tune of
billions of dollars at the expense of the rest of the Internet
community -- to be entirely wrongheaded, though I'm sure her feelings
about this issue are honorable ones.
