Microsoft Censors Pirate Bay Links in Windows Live Messenger

"Microsoft's Windows Live Messenger (MSN) now refuses to pass on links
to The Pirate Bay website, claiming they are unsafe."
- - -
This is highly problematic behavior by Microsoft. While Pirate Bay may
be unsafe for the MPAA and RIAA, blocking on such a basis is normally
reserved for explicit malware and related threats to users, not a
euphemism for copyright enforcement. This conflation undermines trust
in Microsoft's malware detection efforts.
