UN Secretary-General: ITU and ICANN to work together

http://j.mp/TJYn6D (Gulf News)

"As we strive to achieve the Millennium Development Goals and
shape the post-2015 development agenda, WCIT12 conference is
well placed to help further unleash the benefits of ICTs while
promoting an environment that drives innovation," Ban said. //
In this opening speech, Ban Ki-moon, United Nations
Secretary-General, said the Arab Spring showed the power of ICT
to help people voice their legitimate demands for human rights
      and greater accountability."

Excuse me, I'm feeling ill. Trying to link the wonderful concept of
human rights with the nightmare of ITU-endorsed Internet regulation is
the Big Lie concept in its purest form.
