    the reporters redeem themselves and actually investigate AT&T's
    proposed spending, the company's failure to properly upgrade 22
    states' or the plan to remove regulations -- (or more correctly get
    the government to protect their monopoly of the wires), or will they
    simply reinforce the party line?"
