Will Windows 7 Push IPv6 Adoption? The article at the link below proposes that various aspects of Windows 7 will (finally) speed adoption of IPv6. Not to diminish the work that Microsoft has done in this area, it seems to me that the article doesn't exactly overwhelm the reader with confidence, especially when you note the various compatibility caveats mentioned. But perhaps the real eyebrow-raiser is this line: "If you need to go to that much trouble to share resources, you're better off using ***real servers***, such as Windows 2003, Windows Server 2008 or ***Linux*** running Samba."
