Windows 7 phone *permanently* modifies microSD cards so can't be used in other devices

This reported behavior apparently applies at least to the Samsung
Focus.  Word is also that it is very difficult to determine whether a
given microSD card, regardless of speed class, will work at *all* in
the device.  There are indications that both of these issues may apply
to Windows 7 phones generally, though more experimentation is in
progress.
