[ NNSquad ] Re: Schools buying .xxx domains for "protection"

We really need a solution to this. Companies and organizations that buy
packs of domains for the purpose of anti-squatting which are related to
names they own should be able to pay a small one-time administration fee for
the entire pack of domain names. They shouldn't be forced to pay large sums
of money annually for each permutation of the name.

Schools buying .xxx domains for "protection"

http://j.mp/rXNulu (CBS)

"Schools nationwide, including The University of Missouri and
Washington University, are snapping up .xxx domain names to avoid
links of their names to porn sites."

Extortion via gTLD, plain and simple, enabled by the slimiest 1% of the
Internet, the domain-industrial complex.

As far as I'm concerned, these purveyors of new gTLDs are on the same
"ethical" level as Bernie Madoff and Kenneth Lay.
