from DNA databanks, and other examples discussed in U.S. patent
application Ser. No. 12/614,603, filed Nov. 9, 2009 and entitled
"Analyzing Local Non-Transactional Data with Transactional Data in

Of course, just because someone applies for a patent doesn't mean (a)
they'll get it [though these days it's far too easy], and (b) doesn't
mean the techniques described will ever actually be used.
